Can you imagine life without color? Our energies could not flow if everything was in black and white. Color plays a very important role in our lives, especially in fashion. Not only does color make a statement in fashion it can also have healing properties. Color can be one of our greatest assets or strongest liabilities for sending subliminal signals about who we are.
Try combining colors for different occasions. A red suit with a white blouse or shirt and white jewelry accessories could send energies indicating a passionately, sincere individual. The dominate color is the main color of the outfit. Accentuate this color with another color/s to add balance.
Eclectic colors such as "cobolt blue", "raspberry", "bright yellow", etc, should be worn when you want electricity flowing in your life - when you want to be electric or "on". Try to use some of these color concepts around your home or workplace as well as in your wardrobe.
Remember, you can use colors as accents to help create the environment which you are trying to achieve for yourself in any given moment. Black is a power color and should be worn if you wish to present yourself as the authority in a situation. It is an authoritative, career color.
But if you are a teacher and want class participation, you should avoid outfits that are all black. It is easy to build a wardrobe around black because it goes with everything and can easily be brightened up with other colors.
